The Catawba Christmas Bureau

The Christmas Bureau is a collaborative effort among several area organizations to provide food, toys and coats to those in need during the Christmas season. This united effort allows participating agencies to coordinate services, prevent duplication of services and to reach more families in need.

During this two-day distribution, the community shares its good will to those who are struggling. This is a moment when we exercise our Christian values and share with others. -- Rev. Robert Silber

Participating in this effort are Catawba County Department of Social Services, Catawba County Schools, Eastern Catawba Cooperative Christian Ministry (ECCCM), area Fire Departments, Hickory Public Schools, Newton-Conover City Schools, Partnership for Children, The Salvation Army, Honda Cars of Hickory, Steve White Motors, US Marines Toys for Tots, the Teen Center, numerous local dry cleaners, the American Legion Fairgrounds and the Catawba County United Way Information and Volunteer Center.
