Giving From The Heart Award

Are pictured above with the Certificate of Appreciation presented to them by the United Way of Catawba County for nomination in the 2008 GIVING FROM THE HEART AWARD.

These dedicated Adult Basic Education Teachers have been with the Eastern Catawba Cooperative Christian Ministry for many years and were nominated for the 2008 GIVING FROM THE HEART AWARD WINNERS. They were awarded the Certificate of Appreciation at the annual United Way Luncheon held at the Catawba Country Club on November 13, 2008.

An Adult Basic Education class has been held at ECCCM since the early 1980s and is encouraged by ECCCM. The program, sponsored by CVCC, is taught every Thursday morning from 9 – 12 throughout the year. Classes are held in the conference room of the ECCCM Center. Anyone interested in this program and obtaining their GED may contact either Rev. Tony E. Bunton, Executive Director of ECCCM or CVCC.
