Robert Silber, Executive Director

Executive Director
Rev. Silber is an ordained
United Methodist pastor and a member of the Western North Carolina
Conference of the United Methodist Church, having served congregations in
Iredell, Catawba and Cabarrus Counties. He and is wife Karen have been
married since 1978 and have lived in Conover NC for over 20 years.
Rev. Silber is a graduate of:
Lenoir-Rhyne College with a
Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Psychology
Hood Theological Seminary with
a Master of Divinity (M.Div.)
Duke Divinity School for
on-going post-graduate work
Rev. Silber has a 10 year
association with ECCCM, having volunteered with his youth groups while
serving as a pastor of a local congregation. Additionally, he has served on
the Capital Campaign for the Ministry’s new building, served on the Board of
Directors, and as the President of the Board of Directors.
Rev. Silber serves Catawba County in the following areas:
- Member of Rotary Club of
Newton-Conover
- Member of the Crisis Response Intervention System (CRIS)
- Member of the Catawba Christmas Bureau
- Rev. Silber is available to area churches on Sunday mornings by invitation
for pulpit supply, bringing ECCCM’s ministry in conjunction with the Gospel
message.
