Eastern Catawba Cooperative Christian Ministry is seeking an experienced professional to join the dynamic team of a 49-year old crisis ministry in Eastern Catawba County. Eastern Catawba Cooperative Christian Ministry is a private non-profit, United Way Agency, that serves all of eastern Catawba County.

Qualified applicants will have a college degree and case management experience, be passionate about serving our neighbors in need of financial assistance, and have enthusiastic interpersonal skills.  

Responsibilities include interviewing clients and providing full case management. Position experience and a college degree are required.  

Starting salary based on experience and job qualifications. Benefits include health insurance, vacation, holiday and sick leave.

JOB SUMMARY                

The case manager interacts with clients and volunteers on a daily basis and requires teamwork along with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, interviewing clients to assess needs, providing case management via all client services, and making referrals to other agencies as may be appropriate.

This position requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, complete computer literacy, experience with databases, working with a diverse and ever-changing variety of volunteers, staff members and clients. Christian values, ethics, high idealism and a spirit of charity are critical as this position is the face and character of ECCCM.

This position requires confidentiality and high integrity.

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS:                

To further the mission and ministry of ECCCM, all employees are expected to be a Christian, practicing high ideals and morals, and whose character will not adversely effect the reputation and image of the ministry. ECCCM employees work together for the benefit of the ministry, serving ministry clients who come for assistance in the midst of crisis. Through the mission and ministry of ECCCM, each employee extends the love and grace of God to clients, volunteers, other staff members and the community at large.

This position requires strong computer skills, working with online databases and other cloud computing systems, digital file management, Microsoft Office suite of software and proficiency in typing, along with complete accuracy of data entry. Total confidentiality is expected.

This position requires the ability to work as a team member for the mission of ECCCM and the community it serves.
